It Wasn't Quite a Trio...

The boys had their first Sunday school Christmas program this year. It was just a few simple songs, and the three of them have staunchly refused to sing any of the songs for me, "because it's a surprise."

As it turned out, only one of them sang anyway.

 

The kids sang about five songs. Alex sang or followed the motions to all of them. Isaac did some of the motions, but never sang a word. And Sam kept his hands on his hips and a scowl on his face the entire time.

 

And the teacher did end up sitting on stage behind my little angels, for fear that Isaac would either jump off the stage or push Sam off. Sounds about right!
