I took Amelia to McDonald's for lunch today as a special treat.
When we were in line to order our food, she started singing, "Old McDonald had a farm. E-I-E-I-O."
The she looked at me and said, "Do you get it Mom? It's funny 'cause we're at McDonald's."
She's right. It was funny!

Amelia has an amazing sense of humor for her age.... I don't think my 11 year old gets the idea of what makes a joke funny sometimes. Does she have a career in stand up? Or maybe its a gift from GOD to help her tolerate the boys in the next 15 years!
