One of the best things about living in the Midwest is Indian summers. (Can we still use that term?) Just when you think the cold is going to settle in early, and you've pulled out the winter hats, in blow a couple of gorgeous days that beg you to be outside.
We were happy to oblige.

AlexThe boys really love the sandbox right now. They will head straight for it and push the cover off themselves. There's barely room in it for three boys now, so it will be really crowded next summer. We may have to build a sandbox addition.

Isaac looks like he needs a haircut.
Isaac does need a haircut! Though that first haircut always breaks a mommy's heart a little. It will be a while still for Sam and Alex, though.
I'm sure Isaac will sit perfectly still for the stylist, too. I admire and pity the people who cut kids' hair. Not an easy task.
